Testimony of Katie from USA

I am a convert coming into the faith. I have considered choosing Pier Giorgio as my patron saint. There is something so relatable about him. The things he did were good, and holy, and wonderful, and...attainable. I could do those things! That's why Pier Giorgio inspires and motivates me so much, and while he may not have been martyred, he certainly died a noble and self-sacrificing death. I pray I die so well.

Testimony of Michael from USA

I came to know Pier Giorgio Frassati through my pastor, Father John Lydon, O.P.  Through his intercession, he has made me more aware of the needs of others and empowered me to serve God through outreach and compassion. When I see how he opened his heart to all and brought God's Kingdom to those in need, I am strengthened to follow his example. He makes the Holy Spirit burn like fire in my heart. God bless Pier Giorgio Frassati and all those who he helps!

Testimony of Julia from USA

Blessed Pier Giorgio is the Saint who our youth group (Life Teen) is centered around. We are always connecting our lives to him. There is a college group called Frassati Society. Due to what I believe is the Holy Spirit, Bl. Pier Giorgio is always coming up around our Parish in different ways. I know he is always there for and with the youth throughout Life Teen, and I turn to him during whatever may happen in my life. He has become a role model for not only the youth, both high school and college, but I know our Core Team (adult leaders) turn to him for guidance in order to lead the teens the way God wanted us to be lead!

Testimony of Marita from USA

Blessed Pier Giorgio became my favorite saint because I feel like I can relate to him so much. He loves nature and hiking and sports and has many friends which I can relate to. He was a normal guy but was a witness and an incredible catholic in his situation and it is just really inspiring because we can all live out our faith in our every day lives just like Pier Giorgio❤️

Testimony of Martha from Mexico

I first heard of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati in a summer retreat that I attended about a month ago. One of the retreat leaders was telling us about him. He was honestly a normal guy, like you and me, who liked to hang out with his friends, who liked to have fun, and who found joy in giving service to others. One thing that truly struck me was how at his funeral, thousands of people from the streets went to celebrate his life. Apparently, he had spent his days helping out anyone found in the streets, anyone alone, anyone exiled by society. His parents had no idea that he had spent his life helping all these people! Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati showed me that it is indeed possible to become a Saint even as a young person. Thanks to his inspiring life's work, I am striving like never before to follow God's ultimate plan. Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, Pray For Us!

Testimony of Clarissa from USA

I got to learn more about Bl. Pier Giorgio briefly at World Youth Day in Poland. He inspires me so much. To see that you can still become a blessed or saint even through things like social status, athletics, humor- and earn a nickname like "the Terror" because of your jokes- is inspiring, because it emphasizes that we can truly love and glorify God through everything we do. Instead of going through education and formation because it is the proper thing to do, Frassati did everything toward the goal of bringing God and justice to social reform or improvement.  It's so indicative of his "secretly" charitable nature that only at his funeral was it revealed how many people he had truly impacted.

Just like Frassati, I hope not for people to shower praises upon me as I'm alive, but for the people I've helped and loved to shower prayers and graces upon me as they mourn at my death- because a statement to God is more important than a statement just to myself.

Such a crowd declares in hushed reverence, "this was a great man, a reflection of God. And we will sorely miss the holy light he brought us."

Testimony of Joseph from USA

I used to dress up as Blessed Pier Giorgio when I was a kid. He was an athlete and a shining example to his peers in school. To me he shows me that it is possible to be a great saint no matter how hard the circumstances or how old you are. By the age of 18 he was financially taking care of hundreds of the poor. His father was an atheist and he would sneak out early in the morning to go to daily mass, come home and sneak back in through his window and pretend like he was waking up for the first time. He is everything I strive to be as a disciple of Christ.
