I am a youth minister who constantly invokes Pier Giorgio with our teens. They are drawn to his struggles his humor and his honesty. Several teens have been inspired by him to remain Catholic when they originally wanted to abandon their faith. Also during the birth of my first son on the eve of Pier Giorgio feast day we prayed throughout the labor and despite what seemed to be bleak conditions my son was born and is healthy.
