We started the first Frassati house in Canada under the auspice of Archbishop Terrence Prendergast (now Archbishop of Ottawa). It was of great encouragement to the men of Halifax, and supported the inaugural year on campus work by Catholic Christian Outreach, a lay university student movement dedicated to evangelization. I studied engineering like Pier Giorgio. Though God did not call me from this life at a young age like Pier, I have served as a missionary with Catholic Christian Outreach for 12 years.
