Hello Pope Francis, I hope and pray all is well. I would like to ask if you are able to canonised Bl Pier Giorgio Frassati during the The Synod of Young People, The Faith and Vocational discernment in October 2018.
I first met Pier Giorgio Frassati through the book A Man of the Beatitudes by Lucianna Frassati. Little did I know that he would be the role model in my own daily life. He had an active lifestyle that included bringing people to the Church, advocating for the poor and mountain climbing. What Resonates with me is his ability to love the poor at a personal and social political level. It's by taking this approach with faith that we are able to love the poor which is Christ. I'm now pursuing my dream of loving the poor through education which will empower them to break the cycle of poverty. I still have a long way to go, but I know through Bl Pier Giorgio intercession he will allow me to make a difference through Christ that strengthens me.
My favourite quote by Bl Pier Giorgio "Modern Society is drowning in the sorrows of human passions and it is distancing itself from the ideal of love and peace. Catholics, we and you must bring the breathe of goodness that can only spring from faith in Christ."
