A Letter to the Holy Father from the Young People of the World
(And from a few who are "young at heart" while not in age!)
Being a young Christian today is not easy. The world pulls us in many directions and we struggle to know which way the Lord wants us to take. We need a model. We need someone to show us that even those who don't have everything "figured out" yet, can be saints.
This letter is from all of those young people across the globe who see Bl. Pier Giorgio as an exemplary model for us of Christian living and would like to ask Pope Francis to canonize him on the occasion of The Synod on Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment, which will take place in October 2018.
It is written in the voice of the world's young people, but it may be signed by anyone of any age who shares our desire to have Bl. Pier Giorgio canonized at the upcoming Synod for the Youth.
The letter has been sent to the holy father with all of the signatures gathered before november 20, 2017.
